TMSS Cancer Center (TCC)

We’re glad to hand your concerns over to our skilled hands of the Radiation Oncology department. We’ll make sure to deliver the best possible cancer treatment to all our patients! Of course, we always complement our main services such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, Brachytherapy etc. with a customer service oriented approach.

We sincerely believe that having cancer shouldn’t be a frightening or stressful experience all the time! We provide an equally comfortable experience of relaxation during treatment for all our young and adult patients! Also we implement a lot of pain management and palliative services for late stage cancers. Everything we do is aimed at making you feel comfortable, while we take care of your cancer disease!

TMSS Heart Center (THC)

The Service of Heart Center started from May 2024. Our Center now performing 24 hours primary PCI, Angiogram, Angioplasty, Temporary & Permanent Pacemaker implantation in regular basis. Side by side our Non-invasive cardiac activities like ECG, 2D & Color Doppler, Echocardiography, ETT, & Halter Monitoring also performed routinely. Also TMSS Cardiac Surgery department is going to be inaugurated there vary soon. All the cardiac surgery including Coronary Artery Bypass surgery, Heart valve surgery and operations for congenital cardiac defects in children like – ASD, USD, PDA etc will be performed. The following faculty members are working tirelessly to build the Best heart centre in North Bangle.

TMSS Biomolecular Lab (TBL)

A biomolecular lab focuses on the study of biological molecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates. Key techniques include PCR, gel electrophoresis, and ELISA, used for analyzing and quantifying these molecules. Safety protocols and personal protective equipment are essential to handle biological materials. Research often involves collaboration across disciplines, contributing to advancements in medicine, agriculture, and environmental science. The lab employs bioinformatics for data analysis and explores ethical considerations in genetic research. Ultimately, biomolecular labs drive innovation and understanding in life sciences, paving the way for breakthroughs in health and technology.

TMSS Bone Marrow Transplant Center

TMSS Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Center is a specialized healthcare facility established under TMSS Medical College & Rafatullah Community Hospital, Bogura, Bangladesh, dedicated to providing advanced treatment for blood cancers, complex hematological disorders, and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT).
Bone marrow is the soft, spongy tissue inside bones responsible for producing red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Bone Marrow Transplantation, also known as Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT), is a specialized medical procedure that restores blood cell production by infusing healthy blood-forming stem cells.
The center focuses on the treatment of various blood cancers, including Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma, along with other complex hematological disorders. Currently, the center provides Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (Auto-HSCT), a procedure in which a patient's own stem cells are collected, preserved, and reinfused following high-dose chemotherapy to restore blood cell production.
With a commitment to advanced medical technology, specialized clinical expertise, patient safety, and compassionate care, TMSS Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Center aims to make quality treatment for blood cancers and hematological disorders more accessible to patients in northern Bangladesh and beyond.

Smile Train RCH Cleft Project (STRCP)

TMSS with the financial and technical support of Smile Train, USA has been implementing ‘Smile Train RCH cleft Project’ through Rafatullah Community Hospital (RCH) since 01 July, 2010 with an aim to bring back normalcy in the life of poor children born with cleft lip or palate through free reconstructive surgery and their peaceful rehabilitation in the society. To fulfill the project aim and objectives, Rafatullah Community Hospital of TMSS has been arranging and providing totally free of cost reconstructive surgeries to the poor children born with cleft lip or palate and successfully kept continued its educational programs in the field of reconstructive surgeries for doctors and medical professionals. After successful implementation of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th phase project activities, the Smile Train Inc., USA has renewed it’s agreement for the implementation of the 7th phase by TMSS for the period of 01, January 2021 to December 31, 2022.
